Wynn had already enjoyed notable success in the watch category, thus spawning the idea to take the concept to the next level. "The store's original design lent itself to a shop-in- shop concept," notes Hedy Woodrow, Wynn Las Vegas's vice president of retail. "When you enter Wynn & Company Watches, on the left- hand side there already existed a room that seemed tailor-made to showcase one brand." Under the new concept, Woodrow adds, that space will now be occupied by Patek Philippe, with Vacheron Constantin in the adjacent room. Panerai's cases line the high-profile back-wall location, while Breguet and Blancpain occupy rooms on the right side of the store. And that's only the beginning. Housed in glass cases positioned down the center of the store, status watches by Harry Winston and A. Lange & Söhne beckon, with the latter expected to provide pieces only to be found in Las Vegas. "You can't find that brand anywhere else," says Woodrow of A. Lange, which will offer haute horology from its Lange 1, Saxonia, 1815, Richard Lange, Datograph, Double Split, and Cabaret collections. Adds Woodrow, "This is a company that only makes 5,000 timepieces per year." The same center display will likewise house other brands that only Wynn will sell in Las Vegas, including Bovet, Christophe Claret, and Maître du Temps. The cases will stretch back in a horseshoe shape, according to Michael Ryan, Wynn's watch and fine-jewelry buyer, and will feature brands such as Franc Vila, Jacob & Co., Dunamis, and Frédérique Constant. Five distinct spaces showcase more than four centuries of masterful timepiece craftsmanship. The Vacheron Constanin shop- in-shop at Wynn & Company Watches WYNN 63
