Combine that with his label's seemingly ubiquitous red-carpet presence—Kristen Wiig, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, Elle Fanning, and Miranda Kerr are just a few who have worn his styles recently—and it's clear Kirkwood is well underway with his plan for global domination. His latest launch seems a perfect fit within such a plan: a new boutique at Wynn, just his third in the world after London and New York. "We liked the idea that in Las Vegas it's a whole new audience almost every week, and not just from the US, but people from all over the world, and we thought that was great for us in terms of brand awareness," says Kirkwood, who previously had offered a few of his designs through Wynn's Shoe In boutique. "And then of course there's a certain taste level associated with Wynn, an international reputation of being high-end. It wasn't a decision we took lightly, above, from far left: A multicolored python almond-toe sandal; black calf rose sandal with gold ankle chain; black lace bootie with gold hammered heel; and beetroot suede pump with black ruffle, all from Nicholas Kirkwood's Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
