Two Stanley Cups in four seasons, with high hopes for a third in '14: It's beyond the wildest fantasy that any typical Windy City sports fans could allow themselves. But with a squad stacked with names like Kane, Sharp, Toews, Hossa, Keith, and Seabrook, that fantasy could be a reality very soon. When all is said and done, this team could rival those Bulls of the '90s—just listen to how pundits are throwing around the word "dynasty" when describing the group's potential—but regardless of what Coach Joel Quenneville and company do from here on out, one thing is sure: They'll be known as one of the greatest Hawks teams to ever hit the ice. That's why we're so proud to have two of the squad's leaders, Patrick Sharp and Patrick Kane, gracing our cover this month. Two of the NHL's most talented hockey players, they're also true gentlemen off the ice, as I witnessed during their cover Follow me on Twitter shoot as they good-naturedly @JP_Anderson and at allowed themselves to be styled, michiganavemag.com. groomed, and dressed to the nines. The easy rapport they share together gave us a glimpse into part of what makes the Blackhawks so special. It's not about ego, just a team that excels in working together and pushing each other to be the best they can be. That focus on teamwork is a quality shown by so many of our profile subjects this month, from leaders like Hillshire Brands president and CEO Sean Connolly and Misericordia Executive Director Rosemary Connelly to the groundbreaking Loyola University Chicago 1963 men's basketball team, which overcame great obstacles to become the first integrated NCAA champs. Their courage paved the way for future champions in Chicago and around the nation, from Michael Jordan to our beloved Blackhawks, and we're honored to tell their stories in Michigan Avenue.
