The event took place at the beautiful Winston Flowers and Garden, located in Newton, where guests enjoyed food, drinks, and sweets from Alta Strada, Horizon Beverage, and Dancing Deer Baking Company. The funds received from Charity in Bloom help to support One Family Scholars, single parents working to earn a college degree and to enter a profession that can support their families. Boston Ballet dancers captivated the audience. John Humphrey, Pamela Petri-Humphrey, and Mikko Nissinen Kathleen Breen Combes and Yury Yanowsky Sarah Mars, Jeff Merselis, and Kirke Hall Antya Wagemann, Sam Mendoza, and Emily Mistretta BOSTON BALLET ANNUAL BALL The Boston Ballet held its annual gala, Le Bal Epoque, at The Castle at Park Plaza. The event, which attracted more than 500 guests, began with cocktails and was followed by dinner, auctions, dancing, and a performance by the talented Company dancers (a sneak peek of the upcoming Gaîté Parisienne, with costumes by Christian Lacroix). J.C. Monahan of WCVB emceed, Pamela Petri-Humphrey served as event chair, and Joanna Humphrey Flynn and Boston Common Editor-in-Chief Lisa Pierpont served as vice chairs. Lia Cirio
