OUTDOOR OASIS FORGET INTERIOR DESIGN— SOUTH END'S CASA DESIGN IS BRINGING HAUTE DÉCOR TO THE OUTDOORS. BY JORDAN GOSSELIN Take note: Savvy, stylish home design isn't just for interiors anymore. With a revamp of its outdoors series, Casa Design is making it easier than ever for Bostonians to transform a backyard or patio into a personal design paradise—and just in time for the New England summer. Since founding the company in 2009, owner Zhanna Drogobetsky has opened two Boston showrooms for Casa Design's extensive selection of interior and exterior furnishings, lighting, and more. When it comes to the outdoor inventory—well, you can forgo traditional lawn sets and instead picture a huge variety of furniture and accessories, including plush armchairs and couches, cozy loungers, and eye-catching fire pits. This season, Casa debuts new pieces as well, such as its Varaschin sectional ( PICTURED RIGHT), which enhances any outdoor space with a touch of ultra-mod comfort . "[The sectional] feels like something you would have in your living room," says Drogobetsky. This new focus on outdoor furnishings is the perfect way to spice up any New England home. "The outdoor space in New England can feel far more modern than the architecture of the homes [themselves]," says Drogobetsky, who notes how the clean, modern lines of Casa's pieces can help a home's outdoor space exert its own aesthetic, complementary but distinct to the home's interior. The Boston summer just got a whole lot hotter! 450 Harrison Ave., 617-955- 9377; casaoutdoorboston.com . 112 BOSTONCOMMON-MAGAZINE.COM PHOTOGRAPHY COURTESY OF CASA DESIGN SPACE GARDEN
