Twenty years ago, my mother was
diagnosed with lung cancer. She
had very few places to turn, and
lost a diffi cult struggle.
Today, we are on the brink of real
breakthroughs in lung cancer
research and there are signifi cantly
improved treatment options.
And yet, more than 30% of all lung
cancer patients still don't know about
the therapies, specialists, and
clinical trials available to them.
