With exciting retailers joining the vibrant nightlife scene on rock rose, the neW Domain northsiDe is ready to shine. The NorTh Star 114  AUSTINWAY.com PhotograPhy by Chase Daniel It already feels like it's been in Austin for years, rather than months. For anyone who has visited the new restaurants and bars on Rock Rose Avenue, which runs through the heart of Domain Northside—from St. Genevieve, The Rose Room, and Dogwood Rock Rose to Jinya Ramen Bar and Thai-Kun-- the area looks like a bustling downtown with a heavy dose of local flavor. And now, with the opening of major retailers this fall, the true vision of Domain Northside, the third phase of the Domain by Endeavor Real Estate Group, as a dynamic entertainment and retail district is becom- ing a reality. This 43-acre development is the latest addition to the Domain, which brought Austin its first large-scale injection of luxury shopping nine years ago with Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co., and Louis Vuitton. Among the many fashion and home stores opening this fall at Domain Northside are two centerpiece retailers: Nordstrom and RH Austin, The Gallery at The Domain (formerly known as Restoration Hardware), both of which are debuting new features. "We know the city of Austin will love the new concepts and formats of tenants like Nordstrom and RH, Restoration Hardware," says Endeavor principal Ben Bufkin. The 127,500-square-foot Nordstrom, which also has a location at Barton Creek Square in Southwest Austin, will feature two stories, lots of natural light, and a 163- seat restaurant, Bazille, Already open at Domain Northside is the second, spacious location of Austin-based Raven + Lily, the socially conscious fashion and lifestyle brand that empowers female artisans around the world. The space was designed by renowned Austin architect Michael Hsu. SPACE NOW OPEN
