Since moving from New York to Austin almost five years ago, Allison Walton, a Ford model for 24 years, has found the commuter life to be more than worth it. "Austin gives you the space to do things you haven't had the chance to do in life yet," Walton says. While she still models full-time and has a crash pad in New York, Austin has allowed her to explore creative endeavors like working on mixed-media pieces with her new husband, artist Bale Creek Allen, and writing a guidebook for aspiring models.
