PHOTOGRAPHY COURTESY OF TILTED CHAIR CREATIVE CREATIVE SPACES GO INSIDE THE WHIMSICAL, INSPIRATIONAL OFFICES OF THREE BUSTLING BOUTIQUE AD AND DESIGN FIRMS. BY SAMANTHA REICHSTEIN Austin's creative minds are transforming the advertising world. Bringing a millennial spunk to the craft, midsized, one-stop shops like Tilted Chair, Chaotic Moon, and Guerilla Suit are changing the rules of the advertising game. The same can be said of their innovative workspaces. TILTED CHAIR From a two-story house nestled in an East Side cul-de-sac, the 18 employees of full-service digital advertising agency Tilted Chair create everything from online videos to billboards for major clients such as People magazine, Torchy's Tacos, and Topo Chico. "We found [the house] on Craigslist, and it just felt like home," partner Erik Hernandez says. Style: Comfortable yet creative. Dogs are more than welcome; traditional office phones are not. Character Building: The home's previous tenant, a skilled metalworker and designer, gave the home a unique feel, with a handmade wooden staircase and a vintage oven. Favorite Room: The second- floor quiet space nicknamed "The Roost" includes couches, a hammock, and, appropriately, a large, metal rooster. tiltedchaircreative.com A large lightbulb- shaped light fixture beckons employees to have a eureka moment at Tilted Chair in East Austin.
