She then walked the "black carpet" for her fashion show at The Innovation and Design Building in the Seaport District. Guests sipped cocktails and enjoyed music by DJ Mario, then sat to watch models walk the runway sporting the wearable yet luxurious pieces that pay homage to Donna Karan's ground-breaking 1985 collection. After the show, a small group gathered at L'Espalier, one of Boston's finest French restaurants, to indulge in hors d'oeuvres and signature cocktails while enjoying the company of the designer, who posed for photos throughout the night.
