The two-hour performance celebrated the 50th anniversary of the ballet, and was free of charge for the greater Boston community. The company performed selections from nine classical and alternative ballets on the largest stage ever built on the Common, accompanied by the Boston Ballet Orchestra. Private receptions were held before and after the show. Founders Ed Owen and Rich Doucette hosted the classic car show, which featured 101 elite, invitation-only vintage and modern classics from Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, Ford, Packard, and many other favorites at the country's oldest public park. Smith & Wollensky hosted 500 VIP guests for a catered lunch, and Clarke provided a state-of-the-art stainless steel grill by Sub-Zero and Wolf, where the restaurant chain's corporate chef Matt King grilled spiced rib-eye sausage with gourmet toppings.
