The busy fall social season started off with an especially joyful event for the magazine as our associate editor, Jessica Laniewski, got married at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich in mid-September. The following week we immediately stepped into high gear by joining Saks Fifth Avenue in welcoming iconic designer Donna Karan, who was in Boston to launch her new boutique at Saks and host an intimate runway show of her Fall 2013 collection and a preview of Resort 2014 at the Innovation and Design Building. The following week we hosted our signature Boston Common fashion event, presented by the New England Audi Dealers at the Revere Hotel. Boston designer Daniela Corte presented her Fall/Winter 2013 collection in a dynamic show, and Peroni and Bombay Sapphire helped us celebrate. Nearly 50,000 people came to Boston Common for the full-scale ballet production on a flawless fall evening. And in anticipation of the holiday season, Long's Jewelers launched its new Rolex corner, featuring some of the brand's most coveted models.
