Hosted by Nicholas and Teil Allen, the lively afternoon featured music by young bluegrass prodigy Bella Betts, daughter of Richard and Mona Betts. Chef Alison Richman of the Rabbits Garden paired delicacies such as lobster rolls and short rib sandwiches with Carte Blanche wines. Aspen's well-known residents, including John and Amiee Oates, David Ellsweig, and Kenny and Robin Smith, enjoyed an afternoon of wine, song, food, and Worldlife water. The nation's top chefs and winemakers, including Mario Batali, Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Emeril Lagasse, Tom Colicchio, Danny Meyer, Jacques Pepin, Michael Symon, and Ming Tsai headlined a staggering number of seminars and parties. A special 30th opening reception was held at The St. Regis Aspen, where celeb chefs and industry tastemakers walked the red carpet and toasted the opening of the Chefs Club.
