INVITED Jill Devany, Linda Yu, and Terry Savage Leslie and Joe Antunovich driehaus design initiative Jon Cotay, and Jon Chronos Matt Brewer, The 11th annual Driehaus Awards for Fashion Excellence raised more than $140,000 for the Driehaus Design Initiative, benefiting fashion and design programs at participating Chicago schools. Linda Yu of ABC 7 emceed the show, and Columbia College student Kendra DeKuiper was given first prize and a $5,000 scholarship. Caroline Driehaus Soo Choi and Mona Boriega and Jeremy Hilborn Michael Herman chicago house spring brunch Jeanne Sparrow of WCIU-TV emceed the 25th annual Chicago House Spring Brunch and Fashion Show. Held in the Harold Washington Library's Winter Garden Ballroom, the event included a three-course brunch and fashion show by retailer Mark Shale, featuring pieces from designer Borris Powell. The event raised $127,000 to provide housing and supportive services for people affected by HIV and AIDS. Featured brands included Michael Kors, Elie Tahari, Diane von Furstenberg, and others. More than 250 guests, including Kristina McGrath and Anna Davlantes, gathered at the Fairmont Chicago in Millennium Park for the runway show and luncheon. Funds raised support Little City's mission to provide services and housing for people with disabilities.
