ASHLEY PHOTOGRAPHY 1 THE EVENT After Modern Luxury acquired GreenGale Publishing (formerly Niche Media) in April, the company brought together all the department heads—including photo, creative, editorial and fashion directors—along with the editors-in-chief for its first Editorial Summit at Serenbe (serenbe.com), a cutting-edge wellness community and retreat outside Atlanta, where the company is headquartered. THE SCENE To kick off the three-day conclave of meetings and brainstorming new issue themes, visuals and direction for the 2018 issues, Modern Luxury CEO Michael Dickey hosted a dinner on the lawn outside e Farmhouse at Serenbe. As he moved among the crowd, Dickey spoke about the coming together of two incredible magazine publishing companies and the legacies each brings to the table—or tables, in this case. THE HIGHLIGHTS e farm-to-fork dining experience—the produce was sourced from Serenbe Farms on property—was a sneak preview of new chef Brian Moll's work.
