GALA Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary held its seventh annual Sense-ation! Gala at the Westin Waterfront Boston, during which they raised more than $1 million for the Curing Kids Fund. The 500 guests were brought to their feet by KT Tunstall and her electrifying performance, as well as the talents of opera-singer (and patient) Barbara Quintiliani. KISS 108's Billy Costa served as auctioneer. Notable guests include gala co-chairs Wyc Grousbeck, Drs. Joan and John Miller, and Dr. Brad and Susan Welling. DESIGNER FIRAS YOUSIF AT BOSTON FASHION WEEK Designer Firas Yousif closed out Boston Fashion Week at the Mandarin Oriental Boston. The show, Blush and Bridal, offered guests a champagne reception before sitting down to view Yousif's stunning 2017 Evening and Bridal Couture collection. Attendees included fashion-forward people of all ages, including School of Fashion Design president Dr. Denise Hammon, Emmanuelle Accad of Neiman Marcus, and model Kristen Hede-Brierley. Susan Gilmore, Sonia Garufi, Mary Kakas, and Cheryl Clarkson Models walk down the runway.
