Writer Robert Haynes-Peterson covers luxury lifestyle, travel, wine, and spirits for a variety of national publications and websites, and is a frequent contributor to Wynn's "All Access" pages. He is certified by the American Sommelier Association and Mexico's Master Mezcalier program, and has raced Porsches, partied with supermodel Kate Upton, and jumped out of an airplane with a Chilean winemaker, all in the name of work. "Perhaps my most indulgent experience came during a weeklong stay at Scotland's Gordon Castle, complete with a butler, while exploring the Glenlivet Distillery and Speyside region. It's hard to go back to life without a butler after that." 2. Wynn's longtime "Vine Arts" columnist Amy Zavatto also writes about wine, spirits, and food for Imbibe, Details, More, Foxnews.com, and many others. She's the author of the recently released Architecture of the Cocktail and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Bartending, and coauthor of The Renaissance Guide to Wine & Food Pairing. She holds an advanced certificate in wines and spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London, but she's convinced that the best place to learn is stomping around vineyards and cellars. Sabin Orr, who photographed all of Wynn's food and drink pages this issue, has been shooting professionally for 13 years and has lived in Las Vegas since 2006. "I'm grateful to reside among some of the most wellrespected chefs and restaurants in the country," he says. "One nice thing about food as the subject is it doesn't speak, but it does have its own life. Preparation is essential to capturing the visual vivaciousness of a dish." As for his own personal indulgence? "It's always sports," he says, "whether I'm playing, coaching, or watching.
