ZLATA KOZUL NAUMOVSKI Writer SARAH PRESTON GORENSTEIN Writer A journalist of 20 years, Sarah Preston Gorenstein has been a writer and editor at Playboy, People, and Parenting magazine, but has spent the last five years running content market- ing for Orbitz.com (part of Expedia Inc.). While she wouldn't trade those 10 years at Playboy for anything, explaining what she does now to her two small kids is a lot easier. Her husband, on the other hand, is still waiting for his invite to the Playboy Mansion. Behind the story: "Kelly Rizzo ("Sound Bites," page 54) has a great sense of humor and doesn't take herself too seriously—my kind of girl. Just look at who she's dating (Bob Saget!)— can you imagine how much fun they have together?" Favorite travel destina- tion: "Turkey was the most surprising country. I rented a car with three girlfriends over spring break while I was studying abroad in Israel (like 100 years ago). It was the greatest adventure of my young life." After remodeling her home, Zlata Kozul Naumovski decided she wanted to channel her love of interior design by writing about it. She has written about design and her other love, craft beer, for publications like Crain's Chicago Business and Sophisticated Living. A South Sider who roots for the Cubs, Zlata enjoys traveling to Europe—espe- cially to Croatia, where she has family—and currently resides in LaGrange with her husband and three kids. Behind the story: "I love Alison ("Kitchen Queen," page 92). She's fun and adventurous and speaks her mind. As a designer, she's always looking for ways to incorporate some- thing vintage with the new, and she's very sensitive to preserving original details in Chicago's cherished older homes." Design inspiration: "One of my favorite designers is Vicente Wolf. His masterful interiors are full of texture and interesting juxtaposi- tions, and they exude calm and sophistication."
