Big Bend dreams Big Bend National Park may be on the West Texas map, but as anyone who has ever visited that Trans-Pecos landscape of sun-bleached Chihuahuan desert, floating mountains, and hidden canyons knows, it seems to exist on an other- worldly plane all its own. But the trio is back with MMXVI World Tour, landing on August 7 at the Austin360 Amphitheater. From their start busking on Dallas street corners through their platinum-selling heyday, the Chicks were not only virtuosic musicians, but empowering role models and a hell of a lot of fun onstage.
