Authors including Ann Patchett, Geraldine Brooks, Tony Horowitz, Tracy Kidder, Daniyal Mueenuddin, Jonathan Wells, Kathryn Stockett, and Michael Chabon attended intimate gatherings at local art galleries. Participating venues included the Baldwin Gallery, the Vickers Collection, LivAspen Art, Forre Fine Art, Christopher Martin Gallery, and the Drasner Gallery. Guests enjoyed cuisine by Bravo Fine Catering. star power Geraldine Brooks and Shelly Glasser Nobuko Kang, Mark Whiston, and Todd Clark Michael Goldberg, Nobu Matsuhisa, Andrew Marc and John Speers Nobuko Kang and Nobu Matsuhisa sake & sushi Matsuhisa Aspen hosted a special cocktail party 38 aspenpeak-magazine.com at the Matsuhisa Lounge with Nobu Matsuhisa and Nobuko Kang, as well as Fumio Hazu from Hokusetsu Sake Brewery in Japan. Also in attendance were Michael Goldberg, Shawn Gallus, and Todd Clark.
