Throughout the affair, the hip crowd imbibed specialty Maker's Mark and Effen Vodka cocktails while rubbing elbows with the evening's Insta-celebs—including Samantha Roby, Matt Marzahl, Neal Kumar, Nathan Michael, and Jenn Lake—in the restaurant's upstairs space, which was decked out for the event with florals and a custom photo wall by Kehoe Designs. FIRST BITES BASH Hundreds of foodies joined chef Sarah Grueneberg of Monteverde to kick off Chicago Restaurant Week in the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. During the evening, guests sampled light bites from more than 60 top toques and enjoyed remarks from Choose Chicago CEO David Whitaker.
