T he Strip offers no shortage of restaurants t hat m ight appea l to a pr ivacy- seek ing power player —a lt hough at most Vega s gathering places, conspicuous consumption is the whole point. But when one of the world's elite discovers a persona l haven, it 's a lmost a s if a sublim ina l bell sig na ls to t he rest t hat it 's sa fe to follow. And for the past eight years, that place has been the Country Club at Wynn. "Academy Award win- ners, past president s, Nobel Pr ize recipient s... everyone goes there." Says Carlos Guía, the Country Club's executive chef, "There is a certain expectation that comes with that."
