I'm not sure what we'll be playing by the time we get to Vegas, but nothing is off-limits. It's a joy, but it's also kind of a nightmare, because we only have two hours. So there will always be one or two requests that go unplayed, and I apologize for that. Your fans will forgive you. They seem to really connect to you and your music. Not knowing why keeps me diving in and trying again and again and again. I write from my own human experience, and it often comes from bailing myself out of darkness or out of confusion. When I got started, and I had zero money, I had friends who would take me to dinner and take me to movies.
