From the Boston Marathon to the Red Sox home opener and all the events that are happening, the city feels alive with energy and excitement. The Tall Ships are sailing into town from June 17–22, with Fan Pier serving as the main hub of attractions and activities. I'll be enjoying many of the waterfront restaurants as I watch the amazing boats cruise by. Speaking of events, I'm honored once again to be one of the "Men in Pink" at the Boston Hot Pink Party to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This issue of Boston Common marks our 2nd annual home issue. To celebrate, we will be partnering with the Boston Design Center to honor all things "home," including interior design, real estate, builders, architecture, and landscapes. We welcome our cover star, model and actress Charlotte McKinney, who will be riding in this year's Best Buddies Challenge, taking place on June 3. She's been involved with the organization for over seven years, but this will be her first-time participating in the Cape Cod ride for Team Tom Brady. We are looking ahead to summer, weekend getaways, and all things New England!
