Las Vegas is often dubbed an adult playground, a place to indulge grown-up desires and partake in an array of not-safe-for-home vices. But nestled on the Strip is a pair of chocolate- dipped attractions where the only true sin would be sticking to your diet. M&M's World and "Yes, there's a little bit of competitive spirit," says Hershey's Chocolate World store manager Cindy Wix Ingling of M&M's, located almost directly across Las Vegas Boulevard. And during the holiday rush, that competitive spirit ticks up a notch as both choco- late behemoths go big to get shoppers in the door. At M&M's World, a seasonal pop-up shop features ugly Christmas sweaters, candy-filled ornaments, and limited- edition white peppermint M&M's. Meanwhile, the Hershey's flagship stocks up on limited-edition candy- cane Kisses and Vegas-only apparel, and the in-house bakeshop serves Strip- exclusive sweets made by local landmark Freed's Bakery alongside decadent indulgences like chocolate- covered bacon and from- scratch s'mores. When chocolate giants battle for Strip supremacy, the real winner is us. .
