PHOTOGRAPHY BY BOB RUGILE INVITED 56 ASPENPEAK-MAGAZINE.COM 2016 OFF BASE BALL The Art Base held its Off Base Ball and "10 x 10 Name Unseen" silent auction as part of its annual gala and 20th anniversary celebration. In addition to dinner, drinks, live music, and dancing, the evening was punctuated by a silent auction dealing in 10-inch-by-10-inch artworks intentionally not signed by the artists that created them in order to encourage buyers to purchase based on the work and not the name (the creators' identities were revealed following the auction). The event supported The Art Base's mission to foster community and creative expression in the visual arts.
