51 SPECIFICATIONS • All images should be an effective 300 dpi resolution. Any images below 200 dpi will be rejected. • All full page and spread bleed ads should have a .125 inch bleed extending past the trim. The standard safety margin is .25 inches from the 10"x12" trim size. • All files must be CMYK. Please convert all Spot and RGB colors to CMYK with the SWOP2006_ Coated3v2.icc color profile. Modern Luxury will not be held accountable for color shifts due to color conversions. • Spot colors are available at additional cost of $1200 for a standard PMS or $1500 for metallic PMS, please contact your Sales Representative for more information. Choose Ad Color: Spot Color instead of CMYK When uploading to the Ad Portal. SWOP PROOFS A SWOP Proof is a physical hard copy print out that can be used by the printing plant to match color. It is recommended for critical color matching, but not required. Modern Luxury can provide a SWOP Proof by request when uploading to the Modern Luxury Ad Portal by choosing "I want you to create a proof for me." under "Proof Type". The cost for a Modern Luxury created SWOP Proof will be billed as follows: $250 for a two page spread, $150 for a full-page proof, or $100 for fractional ads and will be confirmed before creation by email from our Traffic department. Modern Luxury will not be responsible for color matching for ads sent without proofs or ads not meeting our specifications.
