Danielle Moss, now 33, visited Chicago on a whim. On her second day, over- looking the L at Armitage, she thought, I'm moving here. She met Alaina Kaczmarski, 30, through Chicago's close blogging community, and together they created TheEverygirl. com in 2012. The "big sister" blog now boasts a million unique visitors a month. Not exactly every girl: Their target reader is "women who weren't connected, who didn't have a dream job with a bow tie on it after graduation," says Kaczmarski. Moss adds: "We wanted a blog to see how women like us were figuring their lives out." Bragging rights: Within months of its launch, The Everygirl was listed by Forbes as one of the top 100 websites for women, and one of the top 10 for Millennial women. Their dream feature: The White House contacted them for a profile. "[It was] about these 20-something girls who were hired as interns and have been with the first lady for years now. It might be rare to be a first lady, but every girl can get a job" at the White House, says Kaczmarski. Unexpected collabora- tion: The Everygirl has now designed three couches for Interior Define. "It just goes to show, you never know," says Moss. "This is an insane ask, but we'll try." . The everyGirl founders Danielle Moss and alaina KaczMarsKi are a diGiTal dream Team.
