His wife, Catherine, threw him a star-studded surprise party to celebrate at the Top of the Hub. vents, and it hasn't slowed down as we enter summer. Thanks to Jody Adams, Sean Griffing, Eric Papachristos, and the team at Trade for a terrific cover party for Mena Suvari with BMW and Stella Artois. The food, including the flatbread pizza bar, was a huge hit, and the space added an intimate feel. Congratulations to the Revere Hotel Boston Common on its grand opening, which included a vertical fashion show down the side of the building. We also welcomed SieMatic's new BeauxArts.02 collection with Double Cross vodka cocktails and chef Dante de Magistris' Italian fare. This spring retail stores hosted a slew of exciting happenings. We were pleased to be on hand to welcome Nicole Richie at the grand opening of National Jean Company's Newbury Street store. Gucci hosted a men's event with New England Patriots Julian Edelman, Stephen Gostkowski, and Brian Hoyer to launch its handsome Spring/Summer 2012 suiting collec- tion. It was nice to see Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen supporting their friends Marcus Wainwright and David Neville at their brand Rag & Bone's Back Bay store opening. The Boys & Girls Club also has been busy and productive, celebrating a House Party preview at the Chestnut Hill home of board chair Jonathan Davis and his wife, Margot. Linda Pizzuti Henry and John Henry held the House Party a month later at their beautiful new home in Brookline. We kicked off Memorial Day early with balmy weather at the Nantucket Wine Festival, where BMW joined Boston Common, and festival guests could test-drive BMW's sleek new 6 and 7 series. And congratula- tions to two good friends of the magazine, Michael Schlow and Adrienne Pappadopoulos, who were married in late spring at Radius.
