VEGASMAGAZINE.COM 74 PHOTOGRAPHY BY ANDREW JAMES SPRING FLING! IN LAS V EGAS, WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN STYLISTS. HERE'S OUR LITTLE SECRET. Unlike the aesthetic we're known for in Vegas (punishing seven-inch heels, bandage dress), our every- day look is a lot more fun. And as many locals have learned—as well as can't-be-named celebs and socialites from all over the coun- try—the stylists of Las Vegas's Bungalow Clothing assemble the look in a flash. John Legend is a cofounder of the four-year-old online personal shopping business, which works like this: Create a style profile, get a box of clothes curated just for you, and pay for only what you keep—no membership, styling, or even shipping fees, and no minimum charge. This year, the clothing curators' Valley of the Dolls-themed fashion show drove home the season's ease. "We can still look sweet and seductive and powerful whether we're wearing a daytime dress or sporty workout outfit," says cofounder Meital Bronstein. "We want to show women that they can mix a nautical striped sweater and a floral skirt. The jacket is not just for fall; it's been translated into spring fabrics like cotton bouclé. Plus, we put the models in flip-flops and Keds, because women should feel glamorous and sexy—but they should also be able to move." After the show, women flocked backstage to snap up pieces from IRO, Chaser, Haute Hippie, and other brands, with 20 percent of proceeds going to Vegas-based nonprofit Opportunity Village—a relationship that's leading to future shows. "We want our clothes to work for us," Bronstein explains. And when they also work for the community, even better. 888-507- 3546; bungalowclothing.com . Show thing! Vegas-based clothing concierge company Bungalow Clothing's recent fashion show at Vintner Grill flashed their wares, helping out local charity Opportunity Village at the same time. STYLE TREND
