One top contender in this sought-after category: playing pool at Steve Wynn's own white-lacquer Blatt Billiards table shipped from his Manhattan penthouse, or sipping a "Dom-a-Rita" nearby—a Don Julio Reposado margarita topped with Dom Perignon freshly poured from a decanter whose contents, which serve five, cost $1,200. You can accomplish both at the new Encore Players Club, located strategically across from Surrender Nightclub and Encore Beach Club, Andrea's restaurant, and VDKA bar. Of course, you wouldn't be the first: Recently spotted celebs include Charlotte McKinney, Nick Cannon, Diplo, Skrillex, DeMarcus Ware, Rob Gronknowski, and Holly Holm. The thinking behind the new gaming space, says Wynn Las Vegas Chief Operating Officer Sean Christie, was to appeal to a younger demographic who finds the old casino format—rows of table games and slot machines—a little timeworn. The new lounge space breaks that mold with Suzo Happ InteractivePro tables alongside the roulette, craps, and blackjack, and of course those cocktails. (The $475 Veuve-a-Rita is a less pricey but still fabulous alterna- tive to the Dom version.) Or just settle in to watch sports on two-dozen 56-in HD televisions (order from a special menu from Wazuzu on major game days).
