To hear chef Sam Marvin tell it, the idea for his newest culinary concept, F. Pigalle, originated during his years as an American living in Paris. "I'd take everyone who came to visit me, whether it was my mom or my girl- friend, to this little fondue place, and they all just had the time of their lives there," Marvin recalls. "These people saw the Mona Lisa and the Eiffel Tower, but all they'd remember was this fondue place." It was his memories of carefree French living that inspired Marvin, also the mastermind behind the hit Summerlin steakhouse Echo & Rig, to debut a sultry, mural-covered space in the heart of Downtown, paired with a delight- fully simplistic five-item menu that celebrates the often-overlooked sensuality of fondue—a treat that, much like the restaurant's feel-good, sexy vibe, is meant to be shared.
