Once in the room, both partners lie on massage tables that are placed close enough so they can hold hands during the treatments. "It draws people closer, especially when they really, really relax," says Stimpson. "In Vegas you're either onstage or partying hard, so sometimes you need to take a vacation from Las Vegas! When couples get the massage, it's a truly shared experience. They don't need to tell each other about it later; they can just luxuriate." After the couple have made their "escape," they are led back to resurface in the Atrium, where they can sit and put their feet up on new ottomans and replenish on tea, coffee, fruit, and nuts. "The Atrium is the heart of the spa," says Stimpson. "You feel like you're in an arboretum." Although after the massage, you may feel like you're on another planet.
