Now, resort mixologist Patricia Richards and director of beverage Alaina Alexander-Jackson are introducing the Wynn Signature Manhattan, featuring a unique Wynn Select Barrel Knob Creek Bourbon with specially selected bitters and vermouth, at Parasol Up Lounge, beginning this winter. For the bourbon, Richards says, "we chose which barrel we liked best, taking into consideration fl avor, length, balance, tannin, proof, and the fact it could be enjoyed on its own or mixed in a cocktail. The Manhattan is a classic, and its robust fl avors pair it well with a steak dinner in SW or Botero, or to sip on its own before dinner." THE CLASSIC MANHATTAN 2 oz. bourbon (or rye) 1 oz. Italian (sweet) vermouth 2 dashes Angostura bitters Pre-chill a martini or cocktail glass by fi lling it with cubed ice. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with cubed ice and stir vigorously.
