"Le Rêve is pure eye candy," says Bailey. "i love it so much, i've even seen it multiple times. When i was treated to a private tour of this theatrical mar- vel, i felt as though i had died and gone to theater heaven!" voted Best Production show in Las vegas by the southern nevada Hotel concierge Association for four years in a row, Le Rêve–The Dream has redefined the traditional theatrical experience at Wynn Las vegas. Throughout the show, comedy and dance intertwine for an awe-inspiring experience. From a thrilling high-dive to synchronized swimmers doing the tango in red high heels, Le Rêve–The Dream is captivating from beginning to end. 2. wynn and encore fitness facilities "My favorite hobby is working out," says Bailey. "it is for this reason that the gym is the first thing i visit on the property post check-in." Wynn and encore have two state-of-the-art fitness centers, which come complete with cybex treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent and upright bikes, and strength equipment. "it's an unfortunate reality that most hotels drop the ball when organizing their workout facilities, regardless of how 'fancy' the hotel may be," says Bailey. "i can happily say this is not the case at Wynn and encore. The gym, like the rest of the hotel, goes beyond my expectations." The two fitness centers offer group classes, including yoga, reformer Pilates and body sculpting, as well as private instruction from nationally-certified personal trainers, which is how Bailey chooses to work out when he is visit- ing. "The personal attention from the trainers is impeccable," he says. 3. bailey's floral installations in the wynn atrium "As an artist and event designer, the Atrium has always been one of my favorite moments at the hotel," says Bailey. "Here one is transported to a space of magic and nature, and i always dreamt of doing an installation here. i can't tell you how excited i was when Mr. Wynn commissioned me to create floral installations in this area." Bailey's fantastical floral sculptures —a 20-foot- tall hot-air balloon and a 6,000-pound carousel (with 11,000 flowers between them)—are a tremendous hit with guests since being installed last year, a fact that humbles the artist. "i will confess," says Bailey, "every time i visit Wynn, i stand and stare in disbelief. i can't help but feel that i have arrived. Thank you, Mr. Wynn." A spectAculAr five-stAr resort requires a visionary, an übertalented staff, and often, guest stars. Frequent Wynn Las vegas visitor and celebrated floral and events designer Preston Bailey travels frequently for work and pleasure, and he knows a thing or two about creating rooms with style and taste. Last year when steve Wynn decided his already legendary atriums needed a change, Bailey was the natural choice, and his large-format floral installations continue to wow visitors. so who better to share what he finds to be three of the best-curated aspects of Wynn and encore? "Anytime i visit Las vegas," says Bailey, "Wynn and encore are my home." 46 wynn 46 wynn
