We picked a perfect month to honor the men who live in and flock to our city, and I trust that you'll enjoy our Vegas Aces Class of 2013. These are men of power and distinction who make an impression. So if it's all about men, why would I devote a good piece of real estate to a woman? That's because this is a perfect opportunity to introduce my new partner, Andrea Bennett. She's Vegas magazine's new editor-inchief and someone of whom I became a fan in 38 seconds over a 200-degree tea (yes, her order was that specific) inside Mandalay's Starbucks in late June. Sometimes relationships take time to blossom; sometimes people have to learn about others' intricacies and nuances. That Friday afternoon, those nuances were worked out and dispensed with by the time the tea was half gone. You see, Andrea is a professional, and a learned one at that. I stand proud of the fact that the magazine I helped launch on the 26th of June in 2003 is in tremendously good hands.
