W ith top fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, and Versace lining the Strip, Las Vegas is the epicenter of designer luxury. Joining that roster of heavy hitters, contemporary shoe labels Sergio Rossi, L.K.Bennett, Vince Camuto, and Nicholas Kirkwood will be the latest leading brands to unveil stand-alone boutiques in the city. With a black and white herringbone floor and deep-blue velvet curtains, Rossi's new space at The Forum Shops is nearly as seductive as its vampy shoes. Stocking the women's, men's, and bridal collections, the location boasts patterned wedges, metallic sandal stilettos, and color-blocked pumps for women, plus navy lace-up oxfords, burnished leather brogues, and suede loafers for men. Also at The Forum Shops, British designer L.K.Bennett unveils a gallerylike store, complete with midcenturyinspired furnishings, powder-beige carpets, and elegant built-ins. The shop currently offers an assortment of feminine heels in delicate shades of lavender, lemon, and blush. For the lady looking for a bit of an edge, Vince Camuto arrives at Fashion Show mall with its studded peep-toe platforms and wedges. And the high-fashion shoe enthusiasts will be flocking to Wynn, where British shoe maven Nicholas Kirkwood debuts his 1,400-square-foot boutique, filled with his signature lace, water snake, calf leather, suede, studded, and gold-chromed and -hammered statement heels. And this summer its first-ever limitededition collaboration is arriving in Vegas, as the brand teams up with legendary globetrotter Waldo, of the ever-popular Where's Waldo? books. Appearing on spirited swim trunks for men and boys, the character in the red-andwhite-striped hat and pullover is pictured visiting the well-known beach spots of St-Tropez. "Waldo likes lots of pattern and color, and so do we," says Brian Lange, president, the Americas, of Vilebrequin. "It's perfect for the Las Vegas man because the collaboration is playful and fun, and because, just like in Vegas, what happens to Waldo stays with Waldo."
