BY AL MANCINI PHOTOGRAPHY BY ISAAC BREKKEN W hen Coco Austin is hungry, nothing hits the spot like a cheeseburger. Luckily, when she took the headlining role in Planet Hollywood's hit show Peepshow (her contract has been extended through September 1) and temporarily moved into the hotel, she discovered Gordon Ramsay's BurGR, which is now her go-to spot. Are hamburgers a food you grew up with? CA: I'm 34 now, and I just tried my first burger ever at 30 years old. I was on a plane and I was starving. I thought, Whatever they're serving on this plane, I'm going to eat it. And they were serving cheeseburgers. So they brought me this huge patty—it wasn't small, it was huge, with cheese dripping all over it. It continued on page 70 VEGASMAGAZINE.COM 068-070_V_SC_Taste_OTT_Sum13.indd 68 6/17/13 11:38 AM
