Last year's 75th anniversary event raised more than $800,000, and this year event chairs Steve and Dottie Weber hope to generate at least $350,000 from the seated dinner and post-concert reception. bso.org When: July 5, 5 PM Where: Koussevitzky Music Shed, 297 West St., Lenox THE JUMPER CLASSIC What: After five years in New Hampshire, The Jumper Classic is returning to the North Shore. The world's top riders will compete in the prestigious five-day event, which raised more than $400,000 last year. The event, chaired by Melissa Lovasco, culminates with an awards ceremony featuring skydivers and Friesian horses, the $50,000 Grand Prix, and a VIP Champagne luncheon attended by 600 guests. Founded by Kelly Bresnahan, Gregg Nourjian, Alec Stern, and Tom Zauli, the celebration will feature live music and a Mexican-inspired feast.
