STYLE SETTER fashion forward IN O2 ASPEN'S SECOND BOUTIQUE, HOLLY DAVIS DELIVERS THE TOWN'S MOST COVETED, CHIC STYLES, FROM TRENDY ACTIVEWEAR TO RARE DESIGNER GARB. BY SUSAN REDSTONE T hose fitness faithfuls who take yoga or Pilates classes at the O2 Aspen flagship on Main Street already know that the business's managing partner and cobuyer, Holly Davis, is attuned to the needs of health-conscious Aspenites, who care for their bodies inside and out. With a keen eye for chic activewear, Davis has expanded the scope of O2 Aspen with a second outpost, in the heart of downtown on Cooper Avenue. This boutique offers retail collections that include Elizabeth and James and Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. "We love sporty-chic," says Davis as she holds up clothing options for clients in the downtown store. She's clad in a caramel long-sleeved silk tee paired with mud-colored leather leggings. "O2's style is classic with a very 100 flattering appeal. The women who shop with us always feel feminine and sexy while also feeling sophisticated." The vision for O2 Aspen began to take shape 10 years ago when Davis's close friend and 02 founder Carrie Bellotti launched her high-end yoga and Pilates studio with its accompanying spa and small boutique, "before the concept was trendy," Davis notes. A former interior designer, Davis shifted her career focus to partner with Bellotti to remodel and expand the boutique in 2010. "Creativity, whether it's fashion or interior design, is really sort of the same skill," she explains. "Carrie then asked me to join her in the buying for O2. With my design background and an eye for fashion, I embraced this opportunity. I had always styled my friends' wardrobes PHOTOGRAPHY BY JESSE DITTMAR; COURTESY OF CHAN LUU (BRACELET); HAIR AND MAKEUP BY MEGHAN MCHALE/SALON TULLIO. HAIR BY MEGHAN MCHALE. In the O2 downtown boutique, Holly Davis poses with mannequins dressed in a suede jacket by Herno ($1,375) and Serena jeans by Mavi ($125) and a navy maxi dress by Michelle Jonas Travelwear ($295).
